A Play about a Baby Carrot

Juliet Roll is a New York-based playwright and scientist. She loves spectacle, silly misunderstandings, lefty Judaism, and moments that femme folks don’t often share with the public. The intersection between art and science — the origins that they share and the way they shape each other — drives her work; she is interested in how people pursue truth and why we are so often wrong. Her work has been seen at San Diego Repertory Theatre, 24 Hour Plays, Cherry Picking NYC, Victory Gardens Theatre, Three Cat Productions, NoMads Art Collective, and Northwestern University, among others. She earned her BA in theatre and an MS in biomedical engineering from Northwestern, and her recent work includes A PLAY ABOUT A BABY CARROT, TATTER & HER SISTER & ALSO HER SPOON, ORGO, UMBRIEL, EMU, FUNKYTOWN, and 204.
